About us
Lupa Trader is an independent editorial team covering one subject only: how IQ Option works in practice for someone in Brazil. Login, app download, deposit, withdrawal via Pix, verification, the demo account, and the trust questions that come up before any of those steps.
The site grew out of a simple frustration. Almost every Portuguese-language piece about options and CFD brokers is written either to sell or to scare, and almost none answers the question the reader actually typed. Someone searching for "how to withdraw" wants the steps and the processing time, not a speech about financial freedom. Someone searching for "is it trustworthy" wants to know what can be verified, not an invented score.
How the guides are made
Every figure that changes over time — minimum deposit, minimum withdrawal, processing times, payment methods, the entity that operates the platform — comes from the pages IQ Option publishes itself or from regulators' documents, and is recorded with the date it was checked. Where the broker publishes no figure, we do not invent one: we write it as a range, or we say it has to be confirmed inside the platform.
That holds even when the official pages contradict each other. It happens — and in those cases the text shows both versions and recommends confirming before acting, rather than picking whichever is more convenient.
What this editorial team does not do
- We do not open a live account, we do not trade and we do not measure execution. There is no laboratory behind these guides and we are not going to pretend there is. What we offer is an evaluation framework: what to check, in what order and where.
- We do not promise profit. No strategy, signal or robot mentioned here guarantees a return, and any page suggesting otherwise is wrong.
- We do not soften the risk. Trading short-term products can cost the whole amount you put in, and that appears in the texts where it needs to appear.
- We do not state that the broker is licensed, banned or approved in Brazil. We explain what a foreign licence covers and what it does not cover, so the reader can decide with better information.
Who writes it
Thiago Vasconcelos Braga, broker and payments editor, writes and edits what is published here. Corrections are welcome and taken seriously: if a step no longer matches what is on the screen, or a figure has changed, write to [email protected] and the page gets reviewed.
Lupa Trader is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or operated by IQ Option, and nothing published here is investment advice. The site may earn commission on some links — how that works is set out on the affiliate disclosure page.
